When choosing a excavator plate compactor:
No. 1: Firstly, pay attention to whether its motor is imported. This is related to its performance and lifespan.
No. 2: The area of the tamper plate. A larger tamper plate area is not necessarily better. If it is too large, the motor may not be able to handle it, which can increase the failure rate. If it is too small, it may expose the motor. Therefore, when purchasing, do not allow the manufacturer to change the tamper plate area at will.
No. 3: Are the bearings inside the main unit imported or domestic? Domestic ones are prone to centrifugal force causing the balls to break and fall off.
No. 4: Assembly and processing accuracy. There is an eccentric wheel inside the vibration compactor’s main unit. The rotation of the eccentric wheel must ensure that the concentricity is no greater than 0.001 millimeters; otherwise, it is prone to getting stuck and not working.
No.5: The oil seal must be completely imported. During operation, the rotation of the eccentric wheel can easily cause the coolant temperature to rise. Poor-quality oil seals are prone to premature aging and lead to oil leakage.
No.6: Does the main unit have a regulating valve (commonly known as an overflow valve)? The key function of this valve is to protect the motor and provide overload protection. Additionally, if the customer feels that the force is too strong or too weak, they can adjust it at will.
